What We Learned Today...November 7th

We started out our day with AR from 9:08 to 9:38 before moving on to ELA.  In ELA the students continued to peer edit their Perseus vs. Percy Jackson Paragraphs. Students will need to complete the editing process tonight if they didn't finish today as we will be working on our good copies during class tomorrow.  During this hour I also continued meeting with students about their first term goals.  I've got through about two thirds of the class so far and should be able to finish up in ELA tomorrow.
At 10:53 the band students headed to Leboldus for Full Band so the rest of the class had the hour to work on their ELA or Religion assignments.

After lunch the students had Arts. Ed with Ms. Postma and they continued to work on their Twin Portrait Assignments.  I have to say, I'm very impressed with how wonderful these projects are progressing and I can't wait to see the final product!  In Religion students were given the period to continue to work on their Saint Research Assignment.  Most students have finished the research portion of the assignment and have now moved on to their poster or other project that will demonstrate what they learned.  . During the last hour of the day the students had Health and they worked on their study guides for the test tomorrow.
