What We Learned Today...February 28th

Religion: We started out our day by learning about the history of Shrove Tuesday, sometime referred to as "Pancake Tuesday".  With this in mind, we enjoyed some pancakes while learning about this important day before Lent.

Homework Period: With the band students away, the remainder of the class spent the period working on any homework or assignments they needed to complete.

Digital Citizenship: Ms. Stewart-Mitchell, who is the Digital Fluency Consultant for our division, asked our class to participate in a short video project about digital citizenship.  As part of this project, students were tasked with creating a short vlog responding to the following questions:

1. Why do students need to learn about digital citizenship? 2. At what age do you think students should begin learning about digital citizenship? 3. What role should our faith play when we are online? 4. Is there anything else we need to consider regarding digital citizenship?
