What We Learned Today...January 12th

Religion:  Today we were so excited to have Mr. Meyers join our class to give another one of his amazing presentations. Over the hour we learned more about Epiphany as well as the different types of prayers, (Adoration, Contrition, Thanksgiving, Supplication etc.) Mr. Meyers also took some time to teach us how to write an informal prayer. This was an excellent presentation as it will tie in perfectly with our next unit on prayer writing. Thanks Mr. Meyers!

Genius Hour: With our first round of Genius Hour in the books, the students worked on a short Vlog assignment that tasked them with reflecting on their projects from term one.

Math:  Instead of our usual video lessons, we had an in class Math lesson and the students learned about Nets of 3-D objects.  At the end of the lesson they were tasked with completing a short assignment in their textbook. (Full assignment listed below)

AR: During the last period of the day the students were given time to silently read their AR books.
