What We Learned Today...May 28th

Some of the Flying Monsters from Science.
This morning we began our day with an AR period from 9:00 - 9:30.  We are now up to 7.1 AR Points Per Student with a week and a half to go. Keep up the good work!  At 9:30 we had ELA and students had the hour to work on any homework they had while we watched a movie. We will continue to work on our Broadcast Studio assignments tomorrow when everyone is back to class. After recess the Grade 8's had math and they spent the hour working on the chapter review as well as helping Ms. Norris with a few odd jobs around the school.

After lunch I had to be at Douglas Park for the Track Meet so the students had a substitute teacher for the afternoon.  In Religion the students began working on their "Clouds" blogging assignment about Zach Sobiech. Due to the fact that we had so many students missing for track today, we will continue to work on this assignment in class tomorrow.  At 1:15 the students had Science with Mr. Csada and continued to work on their "Flying Monsters" kite assignment.  During the last hour of the day the students had a free period because Ms. Norris was also away at Track, so most students spent the hour working on their Science assignments.
