What We Learned Today...October 16th

Unfortunately I was away this morning for a Profesional Development Workshop, but the students were taught by the amazing Mr. Gartner while I was away.  For the morning, students spent their final Broadcast Studio ELA class in full dress rehearsal mode, and appear to have their projects down to a tee!  In Grade 8 Math the students continued to learn about finding the length of a leg or the hypotenuse of a right triangle.  They were assigned Pg. 103 to work on during class.  (The full assignment can be found below)

After lunch we continued to learn how to conjugate "ER" verbs in French and prepped for the game we will play during our next class.  For the the last hour of the day, we had an extra ELA period instead of Social so students could practice their group rotations for when they get to the studio.  (This Social period will be made up on Friday during our regularly scheduled ELA period)
