What We Learned Today...October 6th

ELA: We started out the day with the usual AR period before students worked on their Pandora's box assignment.  Tomorrow will be the final class period to work on this assignment before it becomes homework as it is due on Tuesday, October 13th.

Health:Today we continued to learn about Mental and Emotional Health and discussed five different coping strategies for someone dealing with low self-concept and self-esteem.

Religion: Students were given the entire period to work on their Creation Story Project.

Math: We started class out with a brief review on how to solve the unknown side of a right triangle before students began working on their assignment from Pg. 104 in their textbooks.

Science: During the last hour of the day we learned about Cellular Respiration and watched a video about Producers that featured everyone's favourite scientist, Bill Nye the Science Guy!

ELA:

Creation Story Assignment is due on Wednesday, October 14th

-No School on October 8th and 9th (TPD and Institute)

-No School on October 12th (Thanksgiving)
