What We Learned Today...October 20th

Today we launched our ELA class by listening to this classic tune!

ELA: This morning we shifted our focus from the Underworld and began exploring the question, "What is a Hero?".  Students then worked together to answer this question by creating a list of known heroes and villains and comparing the different character traits that they possess.

Health: We continued through our unit on mental and emotional health by learning about properly deal with the different emotions we feel as well as how to meet our emotional needs in a positive way.

Religion: After lunch we spent a little bit of time finishing up the Emotions Power Point from this morning before viewing an awesome Creation Story project created by one of our fellow classmates.

Math: Students spent the period working on their 3.5 handouts as well as the Unit Review from the textbook.  We also spent some time going through the Unit Exam outline so students are able to study effectively for their exam next week.

Upcoming Due Dates & Homework

ELA:

Underworld Questions are due on Thursday, October 21st

Math:

3.5 handout is due on Friday, October 23rd

Unit Three Exam is on Tuesday, October 27th
