What We Learned Today...October 5th

Working on her fantastic Genius Hour project!

ELA:  This morning we started out the day with a quick AR period where students had a chance to take last minute quizzes on the books they finished over the weekend.  After tallying the results I am happy to announce that our class officially met our goal of 10 AR Points Per Student and we will be having a movie party to celebrate!

"How to Create a Comic?"

Genius Hour: Students continued to research for their projects or practice the skill they are learning. Next week they will be tasked with writing their first blog post update on this Genius Hour and I can't wait to read about all the amazing things our class has learned so far!

Religion: After lunch students continued to work on their Creation Story Project.

Math: Students were given the entire hour to finish up their textbook assignment from Pg. 99 as well as work on the 3.3 handout.
