What We Learned Today...December 14th

Teaching us about card tricks!

Liturgy: Today we started our week with another wonderful Advent Liturgy in the gym following our weekly assembly.

Genius Hour: Once we got back to class, the students continued to present their amazing Genius Hour final presentations.  Today's presentations included: "how to play Bohemian Rhapsody on guitar", "how to perform magic tricks with cards", "how to play barre chords on guitar" and "how to create a comic book". I so impressed with how fantastic the presentations have been, and I can't wait to listen to more awesome presentations tomorrow morning!

Little Buddies: We headed down to the kindergarten room shortly after Arts. Ed to build Gingerbread Houses with our little buddies.

Religion: After lunch students were given the period to work on their Advent Calendar assignments.

Math: Students started the period out by writing their Unit Five Quiz, before working on the 5.4 handout on Surface Area of a Cylinder.
