What We Learned Today...October 16th

We learned about Hades in ELA today!

This morning we had our usual AR period from 9:08 to 9:38.  We are now up to 2.2 AR Points for the month of October.  With three weeks left we only need 7.8 more points to reach our goal of 10 points.  In ELA we began to look at Hades and the Greek Underworld.  Students were given a small package on it and were assigned response questions to work on which can be found here.  We will continue to work on this assignment tomorrow and it will be due on Friday, October 18th.  In Grade 8 Math students continued to write their CAT 4 tests.

After lunch the students had French and we continued to look at "ER" verbs and how to conjugate them.  Students were also given a speaking assignment that they began to work on with their desk partners.  At 1:23 we had Religion and the students continued to work on their Creation Story assignment.  *This assignment will be due on Wednesday, October 23.  During the last hour of the day the students had Social Studies with Mr. Csada and they continued to work on their questions from Pg. 161 (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7).
