What We Learned Today...January 9th

ELA: We officially kicked off our new unit on Greek Mythology this morning.  The students learned what Mythology is and why many myths were shared by several different cultures.  At the conclusion of our lesson we explored the Greek Myth on the creation of the universe.

Health: Students were given the entire period to work on their Body Image Posters.  They will be given one more period to work on this assignment tomorrow before it becomes homework.

Religion: After lunch we reviewed the scripture readings on Epiphany before the students were given a short assignment to work on.

Upcoming Due Dates & Homework

ELA:

-Movie vs Novel Assignment is due on Wednesday, January 11th

Health:

Body Image Final Project is due on Thursday, January 12th

-Girls basketball try-outs continue tomorrow after school.
