What We Learned Today...March 3rd

Spending some quality time together on their blog posts!

ELA: We started out the morning with our usual Dystopian Book Club as students got into their groups and continued reading the fourth section of their novels.

Genius Hour: Now that all topics have been approved, we officially started the research portion of the project and students began learning more about their topics.  I'm very impressed with many of the topics students have selected and I can't wait to see where their project takes them!

Religion: After lunch the students continued working on their Lenten Service Booklets for the entire

Math: Students were given the entire period to write their Unit Six Exam.  On Tuesday we will be moving on to our unit on Integers so students will need to watch the 8.2 video for then.

*Students, please remember to start working on your photo re-creation assignments for your Grade 8 Farewell.  I've already received a few, and the faster I get them in, the more time we have to work on the other things to make sure you have the best farewell possible.  Just in case you lost the note that went home, here is a digital copy.
