What We Learned Today...June 9th

This morning we started out the day with one of our last AR periods of the year, as library books are officially due back on Thursday.  At 9:38 we had ELA and the students were given one final (this time I actually mean final) period to complete their Children's Story Book Assignment.  In Grade 8 Math the students continued to work on their Math Diagnostic Exam over the hour.  The students will have one more period to write this exam on Wednesday before we are officially done with testing for the year.

After lunch we had French and the students had the hour to finish up their French Advertisements and Poster Assignments.  These projects will be due on Wednesday, however we will no longer have class time to complete these periods to finish them up so they will be homework.  At 1:23 we had Religion and discussed beliefs that the students in our class hold and how common belief systems can be identified as as religions or faiths.  We then examined similarities among different world religions through the Golden Rule before students broke into groups for our final Religion assignment of the year.  During the last hour of the day Mr. Csada stopped by for Social Studies and the students continued to present their Culture Fair Assignments.  Important things to note:

-Grade 8's will be continuing their Math Diagnostic on Monday

-The ELA Picture Book Assignment is due tomorrow

-The Stations of the Resurrection assignment will be due on Tomorrow, June 10th

-The French Radio Advertisement and Poster will also be due on Wednesday
