What We Learned Today...June 6th

Excited for the Math Diagnostic!

Seeing as today is June 6th, we kicked off our morning by discussing what D-Day is and why it is such an important day to Canadians and in the history books.  After a brief history lesson we moved on to ELA, where the students had one final class to finish up their Children's picture books.  In Grade 8 Math, the students began to write their Math Diagnostic Exam and as you can see from the picture below, they were incredibly excited about it!!

After lunch Mr. Fuchs took the students to the gym for Phys. Ed where they continued their fitness testing from yesterday and participated in the running Beep Test!  At 1:23 we had French and groups finished up recording their radio advertisements then began working on their poster assignments.  During the last hour of the day, Mr. Csada stopped by for Social Studies and the students worked on their Culture Fair Assignments.
