What We Learned Today...October 10th

Rehearsing their News Cast
Before we began ELA this morning we addded some Feng Shui to our class and organized the desks into a new seating plan.  During ELA students continued to rehearse their News Broadcasts, and I must say I'm very impressed with how great each group has done with this project! These are going to look amazing when we go and film them next week.
For Grade 8 Math we reviewed Estimating Squares and Square Roots and then began working on an assignment from the text book.  (See assignment below)

After lunch the students had Arts. Ed with Ms. Norris as well as Science with Mr. Csada.  Instead of Social today, we spent the last hour of the day working on our broadcasts because we will miss our ELA class tomorrow due to the Science Centre visit.
