What We Learned Today...February 2nd

Starting their Breakout EDU

Breakout EDU: This morning we were very fortunate to have Ms. Shynkaruk visit our classroom to facilitate our very first Breakout Edu!  Essentially a Breakout EDU is an activity that teaches students teamwork, problem solving and critical thinking through the completion of numerous problems and puzzles.  (Very similar to the popular "escape the room" type games)

Career Ed: We reviewed what "Skills" are and students were tasked with identifying skills that could be acquired through various activities.

Religion: After lunch the students were given some time to become familiar with the different comic programs that they will be using for their Gifts of the Holy Spirit assignment.

Math: Students were given the entire period to write their Unit 7 Retest or complete the 6.3 textbook assignment.
