What We Learned Today...May 9th

This morning we kicked off our day with the usual AR period from 9:08 to 9:38 before moving on to Persuasive Writing in ELA.  Students had the next hour to put the finishing touches on their essays as they are due on Monday.  I've had the opportunity to read a few of them and I have been really impressed with how well they have grasped the fundamentals of essay writing.  I can't wait to read the rest of their essays next week and be persuaded on their Dystopian issues.  At 10:53 we had a work period due to full band and the students worked on any homework they had for the weekend.

After lunch we gathered together and headed over to Christ the King Church for our Easter Celebration.  A special thanks to Ms. Bachiu's and Ms Postma's class for preparing such a wonderful liturgy!
