Our Blog Has Moved!

He was very sad about our blog closing down!

It is with a heavy heart that I write our blog post today.  After six magical years of updating everything Deshaye related on Bresciani's Blurbs, today's update will be the final one.  Our system has been working on a very cool website template that all teachers will be migrating to over the next year.  It will connect directly from our Deshaye website and will look very similar to all RCSD sites, which will make things much easier for people to find. As a result, I've gotten with the times and created a new "Bresciani's Blurbs" on this template.  You will be able to find our new classroom page at https://goo.gl/bvCcn2

*You can also access our page by going to the Deshaye Catholic Website. Click “About our school” and then staff directory. You will find the website listed under Bresciani, Matthew James.

Thank you all to everyone for taking the time to read our daily posts and updates!  I'll see you tomorrow on the brand new website!

After talking with the class last week, we thought it would be neat to observe the real constellations while learning about them. In order to make this a reality, we have planned a stargazing night at Deshaye for our Grade 8 class. Students from our class are invited back to the school on Friday, October 20th from 7:00 – 10:00 to gaze at the stars while listening to different myths about the constellations. After we finish the myths, we will head inside and watch a Greek Mythology themed movie together in the gym until 10:00. Students are welcome to bring pop and snacks if they would like to eat while we watch the movie. Please ensure that you are able to pick up your child at Deshaye by 10:00 p.m., and if you have any questions or concerns feel free to call the school or email me at m.j.bresciani@rcsd.ca
